For highly cost effective printing an Economy Printing mode can be selected which allows you to produce low cost draft prints before concluding your final print. This reduces ink consumption by around 50%, which is ideal for large office environments where many users are printing multiple documents.

The LP17 provides a scan to enlarged print function, when combined with Canon Multi-functional devices. This feature allows the user to scan a document in its original form and then print in an enlarged format. The scan to enlarged print feature, allows the user to easily create large documents without having to re-create the original files, providing a user friendly and fast business solution.
